My name is Julie Elizabeth Scarpace. I am the owner and photographer for Elizabeth Ann Photography. I started this business in the fall of 2002, however my love for photography goes back much longer than that. I have always enjoyed taking, looking at, and reading about photography. When my first daughter was born, I took my hobby to a new level. I wanted to enhance my ability to capture the special features of my infant on film. I took classes, read books and articles, and shot lots of film. I was a first grade teacher for ten years, and several years ago, when some parents of my students saw some pictures I had taken of my own children, they wanted to hire me to take pictures of their families. Although I enjoyed my teaching career, I am grateful for the rapid growth of my business. In 2004, I was able to resign from my teaching position. I have been blessed to now stay home with my two daughters while I pursue my passion of photography. Hence, the birth of Elizabeth Ann Photography. My business is named after the middle names of each of my daughters...Elizabeth and Ann.

I thoroughly enjoy taking portraits and candid pictures of people of all ages and what’s even more exciting is getting them developed and sharing them with my clients. I take mostly outdoor pictures because it makes for a beautiful and natural setting which allows the subject to feel more comfortable and relaxed. However, I also have a small in-home studio for newborns, infants, and for those times of year when the weather is not accomodating. My goal is to capture the spirit and personality of those special to you, which will result in beautiful memories on film.
